AutoCAD Draughtsman

What you'll do

  • Prepare architectural and interior design drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, MEP layouts, and flooring patterns.
  • Develop accurate as-built drawings based on site measurements and existing site conditions.
  • Prepare working drawings, construction drawings, tender documentation, and technical details for retail fit-out and interior design projects.
  • Develop drawings for submission to relevant authorities, including KDA, SBCA, and other applicable regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare detailed joinery, cabinetry, custom furniture, partition, and interior fit-out drawings.
  • Develop material and finishes schedules, specifications, and technical documentation for project execution.
  • Support the preparation of 3D models and visual presentations for design development and coordination.
  • Coordinate architectural and interior drawings with MEP layouts to ensure design consistency and resolve discrepancies.
  • Conduct site visits to verify measurements, assess existing conditions, and ensure drawing accuracy.

    • What we're looking for

  • Diploma in Architectural Drafting or an equivalent relevant qualification.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in architectural and interior design drafting.
  • Proven experience in retail fit-out, commercial interiors, or similar projects.
  • Strong understanding of retail fit-out standards, construction methods, materials, and interior detailing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, including drafting, detailing, dimensioning, layers, and blocks.
  • Practical knowledge of construction-ready drawings, technical documentation, and authority submission requirements.
  • Knowledge of Revit and SketchUp will be an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, coordination, time management, and problem-solving skills.
