Responsibilities

·        Architect and develop scalable Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

·        Integrate on-device ML models using TensorFlow Lite and Google ML Kit

·        Consume REST and GraphQL APIs, integrate AI/ML model endpoints

·        Implement robust offline-first architecture and local data storage (Room, DataStore)

·        Write comprehensive unit, integration, and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso, MockK)

·        Optimize app performance: memory, battery, and rendering profiling

·        Manage Google Play Store releases and comply with Android policies

·        Conduct code reviews and collaborate closely with iOS and web counterparts

·        Leverage AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini) to accelerate feature development and code quality

Requirements

·        3+ years of professional Android development experience

·        Expert-level Kotlin; strong understanding of Android SDK and Jetpack libraries

·        Hands-on experience with at least one ML integration (TF Lite, ML Kit, ONNX Runtime)

·        Experience with MVVM/MVI architecture patterns and Clean Architecture

·        Solid understanding of coroutines, Flow, and reactive programming

·        Experience publishing apps on Google Play Store

·        Minimum 5 operational and live published Android apps on Google Play Store — verifiable portfolio mandatory

·        Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with AI-assisted development tools: Claude, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and at least one AI app builder (Lovable, Replit, or Manus)
